Greek Lemon Chicken


This chicken recipe is bursting with lemon flavour and soaked in a garlicy herb marinade.

This is a recipe everyone will enjoy and it’s super easy!

Ingredients

4 boneless chicken breast (1.5 to 2 pounds) I cut these in half & used Kirkland chicken breast
1 cup of greek yogurt
1/3 cup olive oil
1/3 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
2 tbs minced garlic
1 tbs dried oregano
1/2 tbs pepper
1/2 tsp salt

How Long Should You Marinate Chicken?

Marinate your chicken for as little as 30 minutes, 3 hours, or overnight.

Cooking Instructions

Bake in Oven: 400 degrees for 18 to 22 mins or until the chicken juices run clear.
Grill on bbq:  Medium heat for 12 to 15 mins or until the chicken juices run clear.

Cook the chicken to an internal temperature of 160-165°F, and allow to rest for the juices to set.

Tips for the Best Greek Lemon Chicken

-Preheat your bbq grill so you get a nice sear on the chicken breast.

-Always use a instant read thermometer to check the internal temperature of the chicken breasts. It should read no more than 165 degrees. Anything past 165 degrees is dry!
