This caramel apple pie is so delicious because the caramel brings out the sweetness of the apples and makes it taste even more amazing.
It goes perfectly with a cup of coffee or tea and a giant scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients
Pillsbury apple pie crust
6 tbs unsalted butter
1/2 white sugar
1/2 brown sugar
1/4 cup water
1/3 cinnamon
Pinch of salt
4 to 6 apples peeled

Note: to make the caramel sauce thicker you can add 3tbs of flour to butter (before adding water and sugars)
Preheat oven 400 degrees for 15 mins. Lower heat to 325 degrees for 30 minutes
